Hanbel rugs, crafted using locally-sourced sheep’s wool from the local market. The colors are derived from natural ingredients such as henna, pomegranate, saffron, indigo, alfalfa, and mint. Although the majority of the weave is flat, the designs have a slightly raised pile, which adds texture and dimension to the piece.
Because each rug is handmade, there may be slight variations in pattern, color, and size (up to 10 cm / 4″ variation) due to the organic nature of the materials. However, we make every effort to accurately capture the detail and color of the rug.
Your unique rug will take 5-8 weeks to craft with care. We’ll ship it with DHL express within 1-2 business days of completion, and you can expect it to arrive within 5-8 business days of dispatch. Please note that larger rugs (9’x12′ or more) may require extra time to complete.

Tazenakht Weaving : A Heritage of Art and Symbolism
This particular aesthetic is believed to have its roots in the vicinity of Tazenakht Village, renowned for its extensive heritage in weaving. Each design element is a product of the artisan's boundless creativity, often representing a diverse range of symbolic motifs derived from the Amazigh culture.
